These giant Blue Agapanthus are loving the hot sunshine this year giving me huge bold globes of colour. Going to look fabulous in the milk churn arrangement for this weekends wedding. Note to self - grow more next year!

How about this hot pink/purple beauty?
Such perfect shape as it opens (& it gets even better!)
Real flower power & a good long lasting one in the vase.
I DO love a dahlia...

September Wedding in Galloway

17/7/2018

Last September we had the privelege of preparing flowers for Annie & Matt. The delightful couple married at the Galloway Activity Centre on Loch Ken.

As I delivered the flowers that morning, it struck me you really couldn't get fewer 'flower miles' than this - it's less than 3 miles from us here at the Flower Farm in Galloway!

The brief from Annie for her bouquets was 'wild, quirky & unruly'. So in her bouquet we included garden roses, dahlias, sweet pea flowers & foliage plus lots of grasses & seed heads.

Annie & her friends arranged lots of the flowers too from 'bloom buckets' delivered the day before. They did a fine job - filling jars, decorating hoops & frames in the Centre.

Here are the pictures shared on Scottish wedding blog We Fell In Love

The couple organised a whole weekend of action for their friends & family including dragon boat racing on Loch Ken!

Thank you Annie & Matt for sharing these beautiful pictures of your special day.

All these beauties cut, resting in water before 8.30am this morning. Must be time for a cuppa, don't you think? The scent of the first outdoor Sweet Peas is a treat this week as they're loving the warm weather.
