The Speciality Tulips have come on fast this week & these are a few we've been cutting this morning. It's said fresh tulips 'squeak' when you touch the leaves & these certainly do!
There are many varieties of doubles, parrots, even multi headed tulips growing in the Cutting Garden. We plan varieties & planting position to give a selection to cut from mid-March to late May. These are a few of the tulips I'll bring to Loch Arthur Farm shop tomorrow, Saturday 8th April. I'll be there between 11am & 2pm to sell our country bunches & posies. So why not come along & treat yourself or someone you know who would love our gorgeous fresh flowers? The Loch Arthur Cafe & Farm shop (at Beeswing near Dumfries) is excellent & worth a visit.
